For the past decade Paradigm has played an important part in the development and promotion of person centred approaches, self directed support and individualised budgets and helped many organisations to achieve significant progress.
Whilst we recognise challenges to making progress with increasing financial restraints we believe that working together we can promote and achieve meaningful change. Below you can find out information about some of the projects and training we can offer to support your move to Personalisation:
- Developing Support Brokerage is a comprehensive development project focused on the needs of Local Authorities, partner agencies, people who need support and families. The project will enable a Local Authority to create a range of Support Brokerage options in local communities. It is a cost effective project that will work for all citizens including those people who fund their own support.
- Getting Personal with Care Managers is a unique training programme aimed at Care Managers to apply new thinking and practice in Self Directed Support – helping to ensure that the rhetoric of Self Directed Support really does impact on practice and the outcomes that people experience.
- Support Planning this two day workshop offers participants the opportunity to develop a clear and shared understanding of what is meant by Self Directed Support and enables them to develop their skills using practical tools to assist in the development of high quality Support Plans.
