Launch of Paradigm’s Handy Guides
In partnership with the Valuing People Support Team and Helen Sanderson Associates, Paradigm would like to announce the launch of the ‘Supported Decision Making Guide’. People getting good support to make decisions, is one of the most important aspects of supporting people to live their life in a way that’s right for them.
This guide explores supported decision making in light of the Mental Capacity Act (2005), providing ideas and templates to use when supporting people in any decision making process. Alongside this, Best Interest Decision Making is also explored to ensure supporters follow what the law now requires of them. This is a must for anyone involved in supporting people.
The guide is available as a free download on Paradigm’s website and a hard copy can also be purchased for £5.00 plus postage and packaging.
